The review platform for complex life insurance.

Thesis

What we built and why.

Private placement life insurance is the instrument of choice for ultra-high-net-worth estates. Every policy carries an annual inforce review that, today, runs across a CRM, illustration software, a calculation spreadsheet, and an inbox. The senior designer who knows how to assemble the answer (the case designer) copies cells between four windows for four to six days, then a partner signs the recommendation and ships the PDF.

Interline replaces the assembly. The illustration is parsed, the template is populated, the scenarios are modeled, the household is coordinated, and the audit trail is written by default. The case designer reviews the output and approves it. The work that took four days takes four hours, and every step is recorded for the next audit, the next renewal, and the next review three quarters from now.

Capabilities

Four pieces.

Each one earns its place in the working day of an advisory firm.

I.

The review workspace.

A single surface for the inforce review: ingested illustrations, populated templates, modeled scenarios, drafted recommendations, and the queue of items still waiting on a human. Every step is reversible, every decision is timestamped, and the whole package exports to a printer-ready brief.

II.

Chain of custody.

From the illustration ingest to the email that ships, every action is captured with the actor, the timestamp, the input hash, and the output. A chain-of-custody record prints as a legal-grade artifact and travels with the policy file forever.

III.

Household coordination.

Policies do not live alone. Interline models the household: the insured, the trust, the trustee, the counsel, the family office. Reviews coordinate across policies for a single client, blend scenarios across multiple carriers, and surface the conflicts before the partner does.

IV.

Institutional audit trail.

Compliance is not a project at quarter-end. Every action in the workspace writes to an immutable log: who did what, with which input, against which template, on which carrier file. The audit is not assembled from screenshots. It is exported.

Who it’s for

Advisory firms with a working book.

Interline is built for insurance advisory firms working with ultra-high-net-worth families: the case designer who runs the review, the partner who approves it, the operations lead who keeps the carrier responses moving, and the compliance team that has to produce the audit trail on demand.

  • The case designer

Stops copying cells. Reviews the populated template, runs the cases that matter, and signs off.

  • The advisory partner

Sees the household in one view: every policy, every carrier, every open item, every overdue review.

  • The operations lead

Tracks the carrier illustration request to the day it returns. Knows which carrier is six days behind.

  • The compliance officer

Exports the audit trail. The chain-of-custody record. The retention log. As an artifact, not a project.
